Dream holidays gone awry

An interesting piece of news heard in Italian media today is the not too dignified conclusion of a dream holiday spent on the Maldive Islands by about 150 Italian tourists, who - after a delay of over 21 hours - saw their return flight aboard an old and, as you will see from the images on the linked URL, fairly battered aircraft.
Missing armrests, live wires on the floor, and icy aircon jets blocked with plastic bags and sheets of paper are probably not the best way to keep alive your memories of end-of-year celebrations.
