Taktsang monastery in Bhutan

Taktsang monastery in Bhutan

A Visit to Taktsang monastery

I was talking to a friend of mine who owns a company that makes promottional materials because I went to her office and she was full of boxes for the various promotional materials ready to ship to Bhutan.

Bhutan a rich in different cultures, traditions, life styles, ethnic groups, languages and belief systems.

Bhutan has a population of over half a million people and speaks around 19 different dialects few major languages.

Bhutan people are buddhists and many monasteries and temples to visit If you happen to go to Bhutan the place you shouldn't miss is the Taktsang Monastery . The Taktsang Monastery clings on a cliff.
Taktsang Monastery is regarded as a
power place because Guru Rinpoche the founder Tibetan Buddhism is said to have done his meditation in the caves there.

This Taktsang Monastery is one of the most beautiful places to visit. I personally hope I can be able to go during my stay in Bangkok. If I go I will bring you more information if I don't I will share pictures from friends who went their for their honeymoon

Back to village life...

I haven't been home sometime now. This is kind of life in my village, that's my dad in blue with is friend. My next travel home will bring you an idea of how life is where I grew up.

Memories....

It's just over 2 years since I left Romania and I have been thinking alot lately about those vast lands, in winter cold.
I miss you Rimnicu Valcea!

This picture was taken at the border between Romania and Bulgaria during our visits there in Giurgiu.

Christmas in Thailand
Celebrating Christmas in Thailand:

I have been living in Thailand for 4 years with a break in between. ANyway, I have always celebrated my Christmas in Thailand during these years as it is very expensive to travel during this period.

Every angle of Bangkok you feel Christmas heat, shopping centers are full of Christmas music, the area at around World trade center in Bangkok is the center of the Christmas celebrations in Bangkok. There are various events in Bangkok during Christmas to enjoy.

Advice: Book in advance for your memorable Christmas in Bangkok and remember most hotels will charge extra for Christmas buffet!

WIll keep updating on the events of Bangkok Christmas and ideas

Travel web hosting

My friend who is opening up a travel business service asked me for some information regarding webhosting. Im not tech person but when it comes to getting great information from the web Im good at it.

First I knew it is useless going round the internet looking for hosting packages I knew I needed a website hosting review website which could help me advice on a good web host who is recommended by users who are actually using the service.

And guess what I found?

I found Web hosting rating and reviews at website hosting to be very very useful. Why they are unique is that website hosting gives you independent reviews of the best web hosting providers plus this information comes with information on cheap professional web hosting services under $10 a month meaning that it gives more than just a company name it helps you decide by giving the features and bonuses included with the packages like all webhosting plans that include at least one free domain name registration and 30 day money back guarantee.

I'm very happy to pass on this information to my friend who will definitely benefit alot as all the work has been done for him. If you are too looking for web hosting plan I recommend you check this website and you will be surprised how easy it will make work for you.
And before you go remember to check other parts of the website like the blog and help yourself to all the information you can have to make your decision making process a fruitful one.
Thanks website hosting for this great service I will be recommending it to my friends!

Hot travel deals from Southwest and Airtran

Steep sales announced Tuesday by two airlines are the latest attempt by a struggling industry to lure back the travelers it's lost during the recession.
Ticket sales at Southwest and AirTran airlines are aimed at enticing travelers eager for a fall vacation for less than $200 -- but only if they seize the opportunity before the end of the week.

Free Tourist Visa in Thailand

Thai government extends visa fee waiving to one year
July 2, 2009 in Destinations
Thai government extends visa fee waiving to one year(Forimmediaterelease.net) Continuing its efforts to expedite the revival of the Thai travel and tourism industry, the Royal Thai Government has agreed to extend the exemption of the visa fee for tourist visa applications until March 4, 2010.

The exemption will apply to all applicants for visa on arrival at all international airports in Thailand, as well as those applying at Thai embassies and consulates abroad for stays longer than the period for which they are normally eligible.

Thailand presently gives a visa on arrival for citizens of 20 countries for a stay not exceeding 15 days. Citizens of another 42 countries are allowed a visa-free stay in Thailand not over 30 days.

Those who wish to stay longer than those periods have to apply for visas at the Thai embassies or diplomatic missions abroad before their arrival in Thailand.

The extension is one of several measures taken by the Thai tourism industry to revive itself in the wake of a number of global and local events that have led to a temporary decline in visitor arrivals.

According to TAT chairman Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat: “As a result of the global economic downturn, the worldwide travel and tourism sector has declined as people have become more cautious about spending on leisure and business travel. Hence, the government has implemented many measures to enhance Thailand's competitive advantage and strengthen our country's unique qualities."

Other recent measures include a reduction of landing charges for aircraft and reduced entry fees for national parks. On June 1, the “Package Tour for Transfer Passengers" initiative was introduced. Transfer passengers making a stopover of 6 to 12 hours at Suvarnabhumi International Airport can take short tours of Bangkok and the surrounding area.

In order to tap the weekend break for short-haul countries, TAT has also introduced a 72-hour travel program guide book to several provinces including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Pattaya. The most recent program guide book in the series is 72 hours in Hua Hin.

In 2008, Thailand welcomed around 14.59 million international visitors, a growth of only 0.88 percent.

In January through April 2009, visitor arrivals to Thailand totalled 4.7 million, down 14.7 percent compared to the same period last year. While most markets showed varying rates of decline, arrivals from the Middle East grew by almost 11.5 percent and arrivals from south Asia were up 3.6 percent.

Travel web hosting plan

Have been thinking lately whether to transfer this blog into a website but my question has been how do I find a reliable hosting plan that come with cheap prices also. Now, I can reveal to you about an extraordinary tool that will help you too to make decisions about your next webhost without having to get to the first you come across because some affiliate told you to. Rather, think about reliability, uptime, key features, bonus features, customer support, past and current user feedbacks, user-friendliness from the host you choose. Now, you can make a decision based on other peoples ratings of webhosts they use.

The green web hosting is the place to find reviews and ratings from other webmasters. You will find the best webhosts of the year and under $10 a month and you will see that these reviewed plans come with atleast a free domain and money back guarantee.

Single no more

Most of my friends who are single keep telling me they just can't find dates. And Im like is it because of recession everything seems so difficult?

Looking around the web I think the answer is no, just need to know where to look. A good place to try such an adventure is miami singles a website for Miami Guys and Girls who have come to the Internet searching for their soul mate.
It is easy to join and the best about it is 100% free to create a profile and browse around for singles in Miami.

Who knows next time you travel to Miami or wherever is to find your new found love.

Huahin travel best time to travel

Next to the hotel where we stayed last week in Huahin is a couple of guest houses. The nice thing about them is from outside they look really nice I did not go in to ask for information but next time I get the brochure from them to share with you, also the fact that you are right on the beach. For many travellers who are looking to stay in a nice place while saving their pockets this could be another solution.

I will be back soon in Huahin and will bring in more information for this kind of accomodation.
