After illness comes the birthday

Its been a great weekend, thursday was my sons birthday. We prepared some food for the class and the kids enjoyed all the food.
Then on saturday it was time to cook for the main party, we had invited friends and neighbours. At the end of the day I was sooooo tired as I had been cooking the whole morning. But my getting tired was paid off by the guests who really enjoyed their food.

Since I have to prepare my sons birthday today, I had to wake up earlier than usual. 6 in the morning up. Preparing some snacks for his class party, I have some photos coming up and will let you know how the rest of the day goes..

Back to normal

Been in bed with flu the 3 of us for the last few days. Today everything is back to normal: baby is back to school, Dad to work and ME infront of my computer.

Also a normal day for people here as they held the referendum saturday and confirmed the president. The local handball female team won European cup of cups against the Norwegian team.

No mum carrots are for rabbits!!!

carrots for dinner? No Mamma, carrots are for rabbits. What do you do when your almost 4 year old decides that carrots are mean't for rabbits and not for human? This is the great bubble I got yesterday, I prepared some some potatoes in the OVEN, with zucchini and carrots. My son ate all the potatoes leaving the vegetables on the plate, asked him why he wouldn't eat the vegetables he replied "sorry Mamma they are for the rabbits"

I go out rarely, as a housewife, an online volunteer all I need is my computer and a good cup of long coffee and settle for the days work.
But sometime I need to go to town which is a 10 minute walk from our house. While I walk I can feel the eyes on me, someone calling others from inside to have a look at me. I have been here since August last year but seems I'm still new to some people. Curiosity (An African in a small town like Rimnicu Vilcea) how did you get here? Some ask me..
